I've been waiting for these and it looks like it was worth the wait Varmit. I also like seeing the iso and other settings that you used.
Here are the ones I liked and why:
IMG_6162 (File Number 4) - One reason is the stark difference in color between the chain/lock and the rest of the picture. The other reason is the lines. The lines are almost entrely vertical. Sure there is the one strip of chain going horizontal and a few other things, but looking at first glance it strikes me as all vertical. Did you use a tripod for this shot? I have a feeling , i got this when i enlarged the pic, that you handheld it. Just a feeling.
IMG_6163 (File Number 5) - Simliar to the first reason to File Number 4. Also I like this one a bit better than Number six as it gives me a bit of mystery.
IMG_6168 (File Number 7) - The slanting perspective on this is nice and you did a great job at taking it level but interestingly enough, it's not the main reason I like it. What i noticed is that at the far end of the walkway there is nothing but whiteness, as if, well, you know about the accounts of people that died and were resuciatated and talked about a white light and going towards it? Here we go, cemetary, dead people, white light at the end of the walkway. Is God on the other side? I'm sure it was just over exposed for that part.
IMG_6180 (File Number 10) - The lighting on this was perfect I felt. It's a good stone statue with good lighting. Was this shot in color because fo the green lichen/moss on it?
IMG_6190 (File Number 13) - Word play I guess you can call it. Cementary with a eatery across the street called Six Feet Under. Genius.
IMG_6206 (14) Again it comes to the start contrast between shades of gray and a colored item such as the beads. The blurred background also helped bring this out. Kudos.
IMG_6217color (17) - I like things to be even and symetric I guess. I can't understand why I liked this more than it's b&w counterpart.
IMG_6300color (21) - Great timing! That's why I like it. Great timing. I wish I could get close enough to the small birds around here for something like that. I would like to see the other 4 pics you took during the burst.
IMG_6313 (22) - You can see how much he is into it. I like that you captured it. I would have known this without the caption at the bottom.
All pics were well taken, these were just the ones that I liked best.
