The larger versions helped. The condensed version of the chain (#4) looked a bit wrong, but i can see the crispness in the larger version that i had expected to see. Thanks for posting the link to the larger ones.

#10 -- If I saw the full body, my attention would most likely go to the face/head area anyway.

#16 -- I got to thinking more about this one. Normally I really like black and white and I couldn't figure out why I wasn't drawn to #16. I think I might know what would have changed my mind. Maybe a bit more sunlight and setting the camera to a much higher iso rating. I think my mind wants to see a bit more graininess and more details brought out by sunlight from a 11am or 5pm setting on this shot. When I looked at #17 I saw the evenness of the two, but what got to me I think is the craftmanship that went into making those lion heads (yes I know it was done with molds, but someone had to make the molds, right?). Your color picture showed great detail.
