I heard a rumor that Adrian is dead at the beginning of the movie...since Talia Shire has no interest in playing this character again. That's not going to make fans of the series very happy.

Hopefully, the "brain damage" storyline that was part of ROCKY V will be totally ignored - much in the same way the eye damage of ROCKY II was ignored in the movies following it.

Believe it or not, I'd rather see this series go back to the "formula" of ROCKY III & IV than try to get "serious" like ROCKY V did. So in other words, Sly, Rocky better actually FIGHT in the ring, he better win, and you better NOT kill him off!!!

Sly still looked in decent shape in the Contender.
