It appears most major bugs have been stomped out and now we are on to things that annoy.
But anyway I wanted to stop and take a second to explain some new features of the board that maybe aren't so obvious.
- From the portal page you can search Google, on the right hand side select the drop down box and change it to Google and search away.
- Events that are displayed at the top of the page are pulled from the calendar, any registered member can add something to the calendar. Have an important event? Add it to the calendar for all to see.
- Polls - The most recent poll that is posted in the Time Killing Zone will display on the portal.
- In addition to AIM, MSN, ICQ, etc you can now enter your Xfire ID in your profile that will also show up when you post.
- Chat - I have gone away from IRC, although the channel should still be active, I have added a built in chat program to the board. Which also displays on the portal who is in chat.
- There are now 5 themes to choose from, the ones that have EX on the end of them are extended and take up more scree, the 3 with the similar name minus the EX are designed for smaller screens. The other 2 are best fit for larger screen resolutions.
- You can get the current list of players and the map of the FoS Ranked BF2 server by clicking BF2 Live on the left hand side of the portal.
