I need 8000 as well but it will probably take me 7 yrs to finish because my primary trade is mechanical. Although 90% of my calls are electrical. See the way my employer looks at things anytime i touch a touch screen thats electrical hours
. I only need another 350 hrs of school as I already have 5 of the 9 classes needed
. I believe I have about 6500 total hours left to go because the "added" 1000 hours from my mechanical apprenticeship that I did
. Then I have to take the test (employer pays for it woohoo). then I start making $26/hr cept by time I get to that point it will prob be up to $35/hr based on what our yearly raises have been for past 5 years i have worked there.
