Is there a yum program I can instal or an easy command I can use that will tell me the ip given to me by my DHCP server without loging into my DHCP server to find it? I have given my linux box obtain ip automaticaly but I cant even man any how to's for finding ip address. I have figured out how to start a bf2 server (both vanilla and special forces) but I need to know how to obtain my ip address so I can input it into the server. thanks in advance for all your help
. Oh im using fedora core 4 since that is what I know how to use and I dont feel im ready for something different. now to find the right command for wake island.
