We currently are running it and have a 25 user limit and works just fine for us. Mainly want to upgrade the PC and the OS. We are still running SBS 4.5 which is still running under NT 4.0
Time to upgrade. =)
I don't know much about linux or anything like that and I do know tha they bosses know nothing about it.

Ok, 25 users, more or less.
A) Do you consider the server to be
1) Mission Critical, as in, you can't live without it
2) It can be down for 4 to 8 hours
3) It can be down for weeks
B) Ask your boss how much money the business would lose per hour if the server were down. This includes salaries of those who are not able to do their jobs because the server is down.
C) You will need to upgrade to SBS2003 because 4.5 will not have drivers for today's hardware (CPU, Chipset and more)
D) How much storage per user will be kept on the server, to include Mail boxes, PSTs and more.
E) What are the Apps your developer is planning to run on the server? Are they Databases or...?
