You can do Quad-SLI as a consumer now also, its a terrible waste of money though. There are MANY bugs in the drivers, and you get next to no improvement over your normal SLI setups.

Add to the fact that even a Quad-SLI (read: $1200 video card setup) will be out classed in both features and performance by the upcoming G80 and R600 from Nvidia and ATi. And there is no reason, or ever was for that matter, to own a Quad-SLI setup.
