I looked at the M series but I am not a big fan of Nissan nor Infiniti. Great engines no doubt, spotty quality.

I looked harder at a Lexus GS350 but they are asking way to much, not discounting 52K and has smaller passenger space then the RL. Slightly faster engine 0-60 5.7 seconds.

I am not a big Euro fan so I took a vague look at a 5 Series BMW and even an E-Series Mercedes but came away unimpressed.

I thought the RL offered this biggest bang for the buck. This is my 3rd Acura (TL, MDX, RL) and I have been very pleased with their quality, reliability and resale value. The RL is kind of the unknwon car in the Acura line because of high price 50K but they dropped the price 9K off sticker, and the body style went from attracting the over 50 crowd to under 50 crowd. I read an atricle on it and they say it's the hidden gem of Acura, buried by the popularity of the MDX and TL. BTW, the new RL is 4WD.

Yup had an MDX, great vehicle, having nothing bad to say about it and it held it's value well. Bought for 36K a couple of years back, got over 28K trade value. I hate the looks of the New 2007 MDX. Blah.

Pics, we want to see pics of the new house. Quite a move from S. Cal to Sparks NV. I hope you have a second vehicle for the winter or good set of winter tires. RX8 and snow don't seem to be a real good fit.

BTW, you m0m0, I was going to try to call you as I will be in San Diego in december for a tradeshow.
