I know that the onboard Raids used to be really bad. Has that changed at all? I am looking at using the onboard raid and wanted to know if I should shell out the big bucks for a good card that will do it for me.
The mobo I am looking at comes with the intel Matrix Raid. I am basically just looking at doing a Raid 1.

Any help would be appreciated.
