I upgraded my 9800Pro to the X1600Pro 'cause I didn't feel like doing the whole system upgrade (read as - couldn't afford to) thing. The card is relatively cheap, comes with 512mb ram, was available in AGP and really boosted my video performance. At the time I did this upgrade, I found it really difficult to find a better card in AGP (and remain ATI...personal preference; have had great luck with ATI, well except for the cooling fans but that's another story).
