It doesn't matter what the dictionary says the definition is. The word gib used in this sense is not entirely refering to giblets. FPS games created their own definition for gibs, meaning bits and pieces of body parts and bloody gore, left over after a foe has been exploded. Therefore, you cannot take it's pronunciation from a word spelled differently. It's not instagiblet; it's instagib.
