A typical intern package with us is:
- 1 roundtrip ticket
- an account with a company that will help find temporary housing
- 20-25/hr depending upon experience and degree level
- one time housing stipend of anywheres from 500 - 1500
And yes I'm talking about North Carolina. This paticular candidate speaks fluent Chinese which is very helpful for me and my US based team as we have a number of teams in China we work with quite a bit.
In fact I'll be heading to China in July...uggghhhh....I think I'll probably melt over there from the heat....note to self: change this travel date.

Very nice indeed. I might look into the possibility of applying for an internship next summer (2008 ). I got a computer security course over this summer though so it kind of kills me getting an internship.
I am still trying to work out the finer details of a double major in computer programming and cyber security (professional hacker).
