I'm not impressed with the features and operation of the HD Receiver I got yesterday, some of the user setup options of the standard receiver are not in this new receiver's firmware. I feel like the firmware is limited in its capability back to the level of my 12 yr old receiver.
IE: It takes a second Guide button press to bring up the Guide that is set as default and you no longer can sort the guide channels by alphabet order, it is numerical order only
You also cannot add the info of the show on the guide for each entry, you have to press the Info button on individual highlighted show to see that detailed info.
Plus it has no coax out, I'll have to get a RF Modulator to convert the signal to send it to the little TV above my computers.
Question: For using a 3rd receiver (or more), is there a special coax splitter they use on the incoming Satellite coax or do they run a 3rd coax from the dish?
