As most of you know the oldfart forum has been moved. But I wanted to stop in here to tell you all how much I appreciate the money, the cards, and the gifts. It's been 2 1/2 months and I'm healing slowly.

When the leader of Oldfart Clan (Smiley) stopped at my house with the money from everyone, I was in SHOCK! I couldn't believe how everyone joined together just to help me and my family! I didn't realize how much everyone cared about me. Just wanted to let you know that I greatly appreciated it!

Especially (Smiley) for driving 6 hours each way just to stop by.

Again thank you ALL very much!

have no memory from about 3 hours before the crash, till 32 days after.
So, can i tell you what it was like? no

I can tell you from others and looking at the site myself, I hit 3 mailboxes all mounted on 4 X 4 posts, and 3 paper boxes on steel posts. Snaped them all off about 12" off the ground. Then hit a driveway culvert throwing me into the ditch, and the bike in the air till it landed on my leg, crushing the bone below the knee. That from a guy that saw it happen.
In all 12 broken bones, skull in 2 places, with brain damage. Two colapsed lungs, one with a broken rib poked in it. Glad the heart stayed going. I have 5 plates they put in my face and jaw, and one in the crushed leg.

Im gonna make my dentist a rich man by the time he fixes this mouth.

Sorry, some things remain private...... like the car that was attached to the end of the cathader when they pulled it out....... ha ha ha *OUCH*
