Lets see the video cards I have owned.

Voodoo1 which was the Monster card I do believe, had a cable that you connected to your 2d card.

TNT
Geforce2 MX
Radeon 8500LE
Radeon 9800Pro
Geforce 6600GT

As you can see I do not upgrade too often.
