So what is the solution? I presume that "they" want "us" dead can be perceived as a problem. How does one solve this problem? It is well established that blood feuds are self-perpetuating. "They" killed "us" on 9/11. We killed them when we invaded Afghanistan and Iraq. They responded with an "insurgency." We responded with a "surge."

Since I also presume that ending the cycle of violence is desirable, how do we stop it? Presumably they have what they consider good reasons for wanting to kill us - whether we consider the reasons good or not is immaterial...our perception of their reasons won't change their minds; if anything our perception of their reasons as being invalid only reinforces the validity in their minds.

Conjuring hatred and fear of them only leaves one avenue open: kill 'em all before they kill us. Are there other solutions? If not, then it must be realized and accepted that "all" does not mean "some" or "most." This has a name: genocide.
