Well, I'm back...played a long day with Massault, totally rockin'. The bug has something to do with their authentication server. Sure hope it stays fixed.

I'm thinking Engineers are just a bit TOO good. Between the turrets (a little dominating), vehicles (which engies repair), mines, nades, and grenade launcher, Engineers are like a total package. Other classes aren't write-offs, mind you, but manoman do engineers do all the things I like to do.

I note the top players (of thousands) are Engineers as favorite class, and flying things as favorite vehicles, with a few exceptions. I still haven't decided if the flyers are broken, or just too good on pub servers (the only thing with a chance to stop a smart playing flying one is a rocket-launcher soldier, and the launcher is just an eense too ungainly in combat).
