The ip address of the motorola is 192.168.1.103 assigned by my linksys router. however thats for the Wan. The lan settings has the motorola ip set at 192.168.15.1 and then assigns any computers connected as 192.168.15.xxx. I cant get it to assign the computers on that motorola to a different set of ip's (like to use range 192.168.1.10-99). It keeps defaulting back to 192.168.15.xxx. I also cant change the motorola's internal ip from 192.168.15.1 as it says mutli masks unable to change. I tried setting it to 192.168.1.3 but it wont let me.

i should say the ip's I am setting do not conflict with either router. the linksys is set to assign 192.168.1.100-149. Oh I just looked and should I changed the subnet masks to be different on each router?

I will try to get some screens later
