However, as I was saying earlier... all that will be nearly impossible for your cause or any other cause for that matter when the masses in America are overwhelmingly apathetic and ignorant to those things that go on around them. Unfortunately I don't think that will change for a long, long time.

What are everyone's feelings on that? Can it change? What do you think it will take for the folks who don't give a damn to wake up? We can certainly take the IRC approach and slap them all with trout.
from what i've seen around the groups i am around, namely educated 18-25 year olds, there has been more discussion about this election than the last, namely due to people's excitement about actually agreeing with someone that they can vote for. that is why i think we will see more people like him come and as we get older and the people that are stuck in their ways die off things will change. most of the people voting for him are our age, so as we get older and mean more to politicians i can only imagine it will become more common
