The chances of it being a good game are very high actually. The last 8 or so New England games have all been close, you might also recall the Giants and Patriots last game of the regular season... the one where they played each other and New England escaped with a win by only 2 points. The chances for upset are extremely high, especially if Eli Manning continues to play as he's done, which so far is to be a great quarterback, his play reminds me a lot of Phil Sims, a quarterback who cared about winning above all, didn't matter if he had to throw or hand it off.

I want New England to win though. Frankly the '72 Dolphins having the title of "best team in football history" is sad. They had the second easiest regular season for a superbowl team in football history where they only played like one or two teams that had a above .500 season. New England on the other hand beat nearly every other top team during the regular season and beat any others in the playoffs. To have a season where you beat the Colts, Chargers, Stealers, Cowboys, Jaguars, and the Giants is simply tremendous. Easily the best team in football, and I'd say sports ever. Like football or not, you have to be aware of that achievement. In a sport where you have a salary cap and free agency... its truly amazing. How often do you see your star quarterback happily taking less pay to be on the better team? I've never heard of it.
