The DI's back in our day were pretty ruthless. I don't know if things are easier for our present day recruits. I seen guys slash their wrist with razors and also go UA to get out. Never understood those guys. Keep a low profile. Do what your told and it's really not that bad. Fook up... and life is he11.
We were screwing up in our Parade Drill one day and the DI's got po'd and took the squad leaders back to the barracks and bent and thrust them for the longest time. Come walking in and there was 5 pools of sweat on the floor. That night we all woke up to blanket parties from those 5. Nothing really physical. They went around just threatening everyone.
Actually I always thought those days were a blast.
