Harb I am in no way saying blu-ray is a horrible/bad format. I am saying the company behind it is trying to screw the consumer MORE SO than any company has ever done in the past. Blu-ray will NEVER win the format war (and if you cant figure out im not talking hd dvd vs blu-ray you need to rethink your opinions). Whats also sad is sony is already talking with microsoft about movie downloads in high def rather than putting them on discs.

14 percent failure rate on the 360, I had my 360 for roughly a year before the first red ring.
Rethink my opinion? Please don't do my thinking for me ok? I'm well aware of digital downloads TYVM. When downloads are on a par with Blu-Ray AND my ISP doesn't traffic shape or cap my monthly downloads AND the average consumer can get the downloads on to their HD DVD without needing to be a geek then we'll talk. Best bet for that right now would be the Apple TV but that's an Apple product. I'm not sure who you have more of a hate on for though, Sony or Apple?
No games on the PS3? Oh please stop banging that drum already. That's nothing but 360 fanboism.... Both systems have good libraries.
FYI here is a link re the 360 failure rate
Xbox 360 failure rate at 16 percent? - Engadget
I'd be interested to see a similar link in regards to your 80 percent PS3 usage.
As far as "I told you so" weren't you the one that said HD would win?
