That's not quite what I said. I believe the quoted price range for the Sony Blu Ray players was $307-$386...so, no, I want them to pay me between $14-$93 to own one. I haven't forgiven Sony for the root kit fiasco. It might be worth noting that I still haven't forgiven Apple for terrible customer service that I got from them in 1981 and haven't purchased a thing from them since then.

...and no, I have no interest in either the PS3 or the Xbox (or the Wii, for that matter). I do not have any unfilled niches into which they would fit.

A month or three ago I posted that Blu Ray will be of interest to me when I can get a Blu Ray burner (preferably not from Sony, but it would still gall me that they would get royalties) for my PC for $79.95 (or less) and blank media is less than a buck. The apparent fact that Blu Ray has won the HD wars hasn't changed this.
