Blong, I had the same problem with 2 of My AMD PCs. Being it is an OEM box, this should work for you: When the system is starting, hit F8, then, you should see an option for "Recovery Console". After selecting it, it should boot to a command promt. Once it does, type and then hit enter: disable intelppm

It should return a few lines of text telling you it disabled it in the boot sequence. Once it does, reboot, and it should boot through to the normal Win XP desktop.
