I really think its a heating/ video card issue.
it was most noticable for me on the new cbp ctf level which was uber green sewage stuff anyway.
I will see what madnad thinks , the whole ut3 "bloom" effect seems to be overkill [hehe] and now that I have turned my FX detail down a notch I dont miss it at all.
--the glowy character models are like neon, [in team games] and the goo seems like it's radioactive.. well i guess it is supposed to be..
ive set my vid cards fans to turn up sooner and so far it hasn't happend to me again.
Also that
beta server has issues-- not as uber as the {OF} one..[ even though Epic uses the same service for it's own public servers]
