That's like tatooing your GF's name on your neck.

except you might not always have your gf, but you'll always have the school you graduated from...assuming i graduate from here of course. granted, even if i dont, i'll still like tech, so its fine. i just want to do something that makes it look better than it does now. gonna get some rattle cans and go to town, lol

how about a normal paint job? Nothin obnoxious.

b/c a normal paint job costs $$ and i dont want to spend that on this car because its not worth it. over x-mas break im going to stop by a body shop that did some work on the frame to pass inspection and see how much he wants to fix the rear fender/bumper and if its more than i deem reasonable, im just using spray cans.
originally i wanted to fix up the body and use either the blue thats on new civics, like a dark royal blue or the pearl white thats on preludes. but after thinking about it more, im going to be racing this at autoXes a lot and if i spent a lot of money on body work/paint i'd cringe everytime anything happened to it. and i'd just be more timid with it in general. right now i dont care what happens to the body and i kind of like it that way. so if its going to cost an arm and a leg to fix that rear quarter and bumper alignment, which im pretty sure it will. im just gonna say screw it, patch the rust and do some kind of paint job myself using maroon and orange. theres no way i'd let myself use regular spray paint though. i'm too much of a perfectionist when it comes to stuff like this to do a half *** job. if im going to do it, im going to do it to the best of my ability.
might borrow my parents air compressor and get a cheap spray gun and get some paint mixed and do it that way. but i dont know, it really doesnt seem like the car is even worth that to me. it really depends on what the body shop says he'll fix the stuff for. the left side of the rear bumper is raised up an inch (the mounting point is) and left rear quarter is all beat up. the hood doesnt line up and the headlights are uneven. and there is a little surface rust here and there around the wheel wells. so im pretty sure all that is gonna cost a pretty penny, which isnt worth it to me. i still have the integra and that still looks nice and feels good inside, its just slow.
