Howdy guys.. No sadly I haven't played anything online lately.. I went from ACTF (which died a miserable and unjustified death) to Urban Terror, then I got sucked into a MMORPG Final Fantasy XI and did that for over a year.

Now I just stare at the monitor wondering wtf.. and thinking back on how badass those ACTF days were. I have to say we were up and coming bad-asses.. then the game died

I still remember playing around and all the sudden one of the members (novakanes friend) challenged 4 of the top clan members (that happened to be in the server) in ACTF to a scrim.. we put up a seious fight.. I still remember I WAS SHAKING after that match.. we got creamed but just the gravity of it.. it kicked ***... and seriously we might not have gotten the flag caps.. but we didn't make it easy for them!!! RAWR!!

God... wtf.. is it just me that I forever feel my heart lies with ACTF? No other game I have played had:

1. The intense action surrounding the flag
2. The friendship in protecting a flag carrier
3. The intensity of defending with a 1 shot kill
4. A grapple hook and pogo launch to mix all that up
5. Some bad-*** maps that helped the gameplay

I can remember some serious anger and pleasure.. with ACTF.. so slap me and tell me it is somewhere else.. but I really think it isnt.. I've played SOF2 and CS on the new engine.. but everything seems slow

have u tried UT2004? thats faster pace with extreme instabib....no hook tho =/

the way OF has the server set up tho, you can rocket jump across the whole map without being hurt ........ heh

ACTF, I think, it's hard ATM moment with BF2 out, was my favorite game+mod.

Remember our 2 vs 2 Urban Terror ladder days when we would be talking via cell phone for our voice com? lol

I really enjoyed ACTF Insta, regular weapons just sucked, it was almost impossible to kill the damn flag carrier!!! Load up with health, armour, rune..... yeah OK good luck!

i will agree that actf was mucho fun times, but i dunno...gotta move onto something i guess.
