Changes for upcoming game reset

I am thinking of turning off alliances, or limiting it to 2 people and also thinking about turning off the IGB to make things more interesting.

Thoughts?

I voted to get rid of IGB and alliances for the next reset.

Any way to tone down the frequency of the planet disasters and insurrections? That was getting a little annoying to me, but I can live with it.

I do like IGB however, because it does give you a safe place for some of your money. Is there a way to slow down the interest, and cap the maximum amount you can attain, including interest earnings? If that were possible, then a cap at one trillion would work well, I think. Gives you a little recovery money if you are getting ravaged, but doesn't allow anyone to run away with the game just on interest earnings.

I think the planets need to earn interest and IGB interest needs to be reduced, as well as an overall cap that will limit not only how much you can deposit, but how much you can have in there including interest. I recommend 10 trillion as the total cap - considering I have 337 tril in there now, all but 1 tril being interest earned.

I'm fine with or without alliances, but voted to keep them and just limit them to 2 people. But then again, we don't have a lot of players, so no alliances might work out better.

I voted for leaving the IGB and limiting alliances to 2 people. I do like the idea of limiting the interest earned so no one can sit back and earn so many credits that they can get a high tech level ship without working for it. Also, the good/evil rating should have a greater impact on the score.

I don't think I can make the planets earn interest, the code is gone from the game, but I will keep digging.

I can slow the interest in the IGB but I can't cap it from growing beyond a certain point.

Planetary disasters can be toned down, I will cut them in half...

Grey, sorry about the attack, I thought today was the end of the game so I decided to try and get even :/ However I guess I started the mess, you can whoop on me next game

i voted for no igb and no alliance.

for no igb, i actually don't mind the igb, but would prefer it had no interest gain.

i'd still be fine with no interest anywhere...but yeah...in that case, turn off igb as well to encourage people to keep the money on planets.

the no alliance vote is only if we keep it within fos, with the small number of people we have playing. if it were to open up to the public and we got alot of people playing, alliances would be fine. it was actually fun the previous game when the fos folks were sorta teaming up against the "outsiders". =)

i'd also vote to maybe tone down the planetary disasters some.

i'd be up for the new beta version as well.

A new beta sounds good. I agree with mim on the alliances. If we stay private none are really needed, but if we go public then leave them so we can all whoop up on the outsiders! muhahaha

The new beta is not for public release yet so we won't be going that route.

I am goign to go ahead and reset the game with the changes we talked about, no one is going to knock Dynamic or Falcon out so I would say it is over.
