AATraders .30 Coming Soon, Information, Questions, and Concerns
Hey everyone, This is a quick poll to see what everyone's feelings are to the newest installment of the AATraders Series.
Concerning the new AATraders after playing on the 3.0 Main server, I will tell you that it is COMPLETELY different. My first thoughts on it the game where, what in the world is this? But Ive been playing around and am starting to figure out things slowly but surely. In the next post will be a list of changes and information that you can obtain for yourself. But I must say im excited to give this game a try, it seems as if everything you do is incorporated into everything which is really neat, and it makes the game challenging, but to the point where such as being able to realspace anywhere for 1 or 2 points is a HUGE accomplishment! The game is very interesting and ill try to post some of the aspects of it the best way i know how to explain!
Give any questions or concerns about the game, Also if anyone is reading this who hasnt playing AATraders, feel free to try this game out because past knowledge of AATraders is minor usefull because of how much 3.0 is going to change the game!

Ill start this with the begginning.
You start in sector SOL, The Way the Universe is Mapped is not with a basic Number System but is wierd useing numbers and sectors or something, Ive Yet to figure out how the Sectors work but anyway.
You start out with a Pioneer, and youll notice that the Upgrades have been changed from a 10's based system to a 100 based systems * 15 hull = 150 hull *
In Sector one you see the Upgrade Port, and some information port, But where is the Shipyard?
It isnt there nor are there any Colonist in the Upgrade Port.
1.) Colonist now have their own ports now, Colonists Ports.
2.) Shipyards can only be found on a Based Planet Owned by you or a Teammate! *neat concept*
So this means to start, you will want to Warp around in Federation Territor * you can tell federation territor is cause if you full scan there will be an F= or F> The F means federation. Your first task is to warp around federation sectors makeing trade routes Ore and Goods are good, but check the ports first
** NEW CHANGE ** Ports wont always sell what you want, or buy what you want, its different
Anyway, Get your Pioneer Hulls up and and get a genesis torpedo, and go find a Colonist Port that isnt in Federation Territor, and Build a Planet there, Then create a trade route to the Colonist port and put Colonist on the planet and let it build up enough resources to let you build a base, so that you can access the shipyard to get your next ship after running trade routes enough.
Thats as far as I have gotten so far, as I learn More I will post it.
