I am going to cancel our current dedicated server and get a new one setup.
  • Reasons:
  • The TX servers (which we are on) can't not run both SF and vanilla BF2, they can on their CA servers but not in TX, they aren't sure if they are going to be able to offer this, if we want to go to SF we will only have the SF maps available.
  • Billing - the current billing cycle I was sent an e-mail stating we owed, then a cancelation notice, then a note from the admin saying we were fine it was a billing glitch, and today I got another notice. Looking at my account the money has been sucked out.
  • The above mentioned notice went out to about 20-30 people, and so now my e-mail address has been sent to 20-30 people I don't know, that is a huge deal in my book and shows no respect for privacy.

Our current subscription ends at the end of November, I will start working on finding some other places for us to try out. It may cost an extra $1 a slot, but so be it. You get what you pay for!

How many slots are you thinking we may have? Just to recommend i would like something like over 40...and will we be having to donate money again?

Thats fine soul I was noticing the server wasnt that good of a server anyways. Thanks for the headsup and I hope we can fidn something we all agree on .

Couldnt Ping NY or L.A. but Chicago was the best for me, Then Virginia, Then Dallas.
