Emmmmm Fast Vet/Expert Grappling/Zip

I think one of these guys was on the server I was on the other day and while we were losing the round he was off in the corner doing repeat firing of his zip.

I tried it about 20 times with my normal key binds. My weapons don't cycle as fast as his video showed.

But on that subject sort of....my rant.

Those 3 awards tear/flash nades, grapple and zipline IMO opinion are stooopid. Why not have a Bullet Badge too. Become a Veteran Bullet user after 10,000 shots?

The only thing I would credit ppl for is if someone else used your line you would get a teamwork point. Like you when you heal/repair or resupply someone. I just don't think a badge is warranted.

Also I don't agree with the SF Combat Class Badges. Vanilla already has them for the same class and regardless of whether you play straight BF2 or SF all the stats log to the same class. So what's the point? They just seem like redundant awards.

As for ranks. RIGHT NOW...1st Sgt if you have all the basic combat badges. Otherwise you're a Master Sgt. And all basic vehicle/air-ground defense badges for Sgt. Major, otherwise Master Gunney.

I would have liked to see, and maybe this will happen with the new ranks added is this...Have higher ranks require the veteran ones and the highest rank require expert. This would encourage more play in other areas than just killing for points.

I am already playing more areas. However I dont think we should have to get veteran helo/armor/transport etc. I mean come on 100 hours in armor and helo just to get a veteran badge?

I wasn't agreeing with the requirements of vet/expert badges (which I don't), just the concept that higher ranks should require higher qualifications.
