lost cd key

hey guys i bought a new card for my desktop and cant find my damn cd manual.
is there a way to get it of my laptop ...in a folder or something

im running bf2 on a dell xps
with a radeon 9800 pro

i bought a radeon 9550 for my destop

can any one help me out

You can find the key here with regedit
Hkey_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\ergc

Problem is in 1.13 EA encrypted it, supposedly this will be fixed in the next patch.

Keep play on the laptop until the new patch is out 2-3 weeks or take pics of your BF2 discs and call up EA support and send them to them and you will get a new keycode in 2-3 weeks.

Either way, fair punishment for only buying a Radeon 9550.

Lol, why would you even care? That laptop's graphics will kill those 9550.

im sorry but since patch 1.03 you can no longer find the cdkey as it is encrypted. so you have to send $10 and some other things to ea to get a new cd key.

i wont spend more than 200 for one and this one was the cheapest card to play bf2

How is it redundant? I am right and giving true information. If you dont believe me let me know how you find your cd key then because I have been unable to do so and it says right on ea's website send $10/copy of reciept or a cd/dvd from your game and then they will send you a new cd key. so again explain to me how it is redundant since you are the all and mighty number one who knows everythign there is to know about anything.

Oh and yes I read your post so yes I realize you said it will be fixed in 1.13 (to which I have seen no information about so if you can point me to exactly where it says that will be fixed would be wonderful). I was posting the fact that as of the current situation it costs $10 for a new cd key. If they fix it in the new patch great.
