After getting word from Blong about this Mystery "ROE" Rules of Engagement. I went in and was about to post something but, refrained. I only did it cause as of now, I have to know where we all stand. I have educated myself a little better with what it states but, in a rage I have this ready to fire when and if it comes. I would love to get comments about what I have wrote. I'm sure it has a Ton of Grammar issues which I will eventually deal with but for now, Pick and feed as you wish.

I think you all have a right to your Rules/Opinions and most I have to agree but, the biggest issue I see with this ESPECIALLY since its a Company that has supplied the Public with a Product. We paid money for a game that obviously never went out with any real consideration for what people would do. To force people to follow rules that they spell out simply because they can't fix the problem in game is simply BS. You got alot of money from the deal, FIX it right. Have some freak-in Pride! Do the job freakin Right. That's half the problem now-a-days. Hungry for money but, do it cheap. I'm not saying you have to be perfect because I understand someone down the line would find these exploits and use them...

My biggest beef even if my statement is out of place. The comment about not changing server settings....

That's a coding issue, YOU should have never made it possible to change anything other then Default Map Rotation and Server Names and Map Size for "Ranked Servers". If you give that ability and expect someone not to use it, your a fool! I'm sorry but, that's just common sense. Call it a "Crippled Server" or whatever but, if you wanted a server to be specific, you should have built it that way. Since I am not an admin or run a server I could be out of place so I don't know what can be or can't be changed. If I am out of place I apologize.

The other comment is about the Whole Stat Padding issue that everyone is whining about. Yes its a problem and needs to be addressed. That's something you need to (Build/Fix/Patch) into the game. Telling me its and Exploit and its a No-No is a little questionable. Ok you can buy this game but you can't play it. The whole Bunny-hopping and Dolphin issue is another one. You call it an exploit? I call it bad design. While yes, its a problem that has to be addressed. Call it for what it is. Fix it in a patch and move on. Its fixable. that's the point of having Patches. Don't force people with rules that may or may not know any better because of the design.

Ok enough of that soup box. I do want to thank you for doing what you do and keep it up. In the end it will all work out, people just need to learn how to see both sides before spanking them with Gestapo Rules.

Wow...i mean this is Ret ard ed. God...this game is made in the U.S. if im correct....Its making us look stupid and idiotic. I think you guys were right. They just want the stupid money then they can go and mess the game up. Way to go losers...

Heheh, If the crap hits the fan I will be ready for either D&D online or Neverwinter nights 2 to come out. At least there its based on your own merit and not have to deal with stupid crap

Don't go mmorpg on me though.

SoF/CSS, maybe the new Rainbow 6 Lockdown? I liked the demo. And for Soul, Far Cry was/is a pretty decent game still.

On BF2, it's boring now. It's all about hours and hours and hours to max the next class and then the next. SoF was actually FUN to play. The was a much more 'closeness' feel to it, especially when we were on vent.

UT, I'll with blong...VANILLA, I still cannot do the excessive thing.

But I have been following Quake Wars. This might be the NEXT game that the FoS community can do. Check it when you can.

Quake Wars is going to be BF2 with better graphics and a awesome setting. But setting cant keep a game from getting boring. Honestly I got bored with BF2 within a few weeks, surprised it took some of you so long.

OK some clarification for JACKASS #1 on High point servers. If I read the response right... WE are OK to Play were we do. Heres the response.. Feedbag away.

High Point Servers..

definition

64 Player maps setup with 16 players, which limit weapons or vehicles kick people who take flags, for the sole purpose of running points up very high to gain unlocks, badges and rank ..

those are against the ROE

if you run the server normal on a 64 player map with 16 or more players and do not limit class or weapons, then there is no problem..

these are fine..

Way I look at it if the game comes out and you can do something so be it, I agree if they dont want it to happen then fix it in a patch. The bunny hopping thing, quite winning its a part of the game, I have kiilled pleny of people bunny hopping, just aim at the middle of the hop

Maybe it's that I don't care about taking the game so serious,
that I still find it a lot of fun?

As for the bunny hopping issue..
it's lame that people take advantage and exploit it.

Dudio... Just a FYI on the conversation. There is some Rules that are going around via EA but not posted properly about How you can and CANNOT play the game in Ranked servers. The problem is the way they display most people wouldn't even know about it unless they went out of their way to find it. My initial concern is the fact that a Server Can't be Customized so to speak to run it the way they want like not allowing certain things. That moves us to the topic of these servers out there that are High point servers. One that are 64 player maps that only allow about 18 people to play hence tickets drop slower allowing slightly more time to play. We've been playing like crazy on these servers and it wasn't clear about whats wrong with them until I found a response about what you couldn't do on them. It was never Spelled out. Stating that... This post can probably be Closed since its not as big of deal as I had thought due to the lack of information the Company/ Arbitrators were giving us.
