I remember hearing about this awhile ago, targeted in-game ads are going to become more and more the norm as many of the big publishers are planning on doing this.

I have read multiple reports on what it will do, and I can't seem to find the official answer. I bought it and still plan on playing it, I am sure that at some point there will be a patch or a hack to block it. Shitty that they would do it, but it is what it is.

I'd be worried on how often that this thing is going to be sending out info and killing peoples connection or slowing down the PC in the process.

DAMN IT TO HELL!!! I found a reg key from the BF2142 demo for IGA software.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/IGA
And to think that they said that nothing will be installed on your PC related to it. I guess they don't think that reg keys count.
