ALT + Tab
Sunday, 14 January, 2007 – Planet Battlefield News BF2142 ALT + Tab Fix

BF2142.se has found a fix for people having problems who try to ALT + Tab in Battlefield 2142. Now my Swedish is a bit off but all this seems to do is install the DICE.bik into your Movies Folder which allows you to ALT + Tab in-game. I have tested this myself and it seems to work.
This file is suppose to fix the issues with ALT + Tab when playing Battlefield 2142.

Rough Translation:

Download, you first simply extract the Self Installer and run it. This recognizes your BF2142-Installation automatically. The program installs the DICE.BIK again into your Movies file.

Cool, will check it out, only have a problem alt-tabing at certain spots.

I also found if you are in game and alt-tab and try to go back in and you just have a blank screen but hear the sounds that you can hit ESC and it will bring the game back on screen, hit ESC again to get out of the menu.

Hmm, Alt-tab seems to work for me most of the time. But it doesn't for Mr_Bad. I'll try it out!

I found on a forum that if all the grpahic settings of your desktop & game are the same, alt/tab should work (it did for me).

i.e. if your desktop is 1280x960 and you play at 1024x768 you may have alt/tab trouble.
