windowed mode?

is there a way to run BF in window? i feel disconnected if i cant talk on AIM and play at the same time! if i cant get windowed mode i dont think i'll be playing as much...

You should be able to change the target in the shortcut to run it in a window mode.

it also helps for firewall clearing metal...anytime i start a new game zonealarm pops up asking if i want to allow such and such and its difficult to get to it sometimes when its fullscreen

generally you'd just add a: -window at the end of the target, but it seems this doesnt work with BF2. Not all games can be run in a window, maybe this is one of them.

cheese thats why you get a router with a firewall. no more annoying pop ups =]

besides if you set it up before you play the game you wont have pop ups

i use both...at home i have the router thing, at school i didnt cause i was living alone and didnt see the point in investing in a router. next year i might, but i like zonealarm. i dont run antivirus or any spyware stuff...the only thing i have is zonealarm and i havnt had any problems. if i see something i didnt double click try to access the internet, i deny it and move on. cant do that with the shitty windows crap or a hardware firewall. za keeps stuff from going out or in and it doesnt mask your ip so you can still do things that need direct ip access

and thats pretty gay if i cant get windowed
