What do you use to control Planes and Choppers in BF2?

What do you use to control Plane and Chopper in BF2? I'm just curious to see what is the most popular: keyboard or Joystick. I find the plane/chopper very hard to control and base on what I have seen playing online, I'm not alone .

I haven't developed a good system yet. I've been using keyboard/mouse with horrible results. As soon as I get off my butt and pull out the joystick I think that will be the ticket.

I used to use a joystick. I found I could crash much faster with it. therefore it sits and gathers dust as I do not fly.

I tried the keyboard and it didn't wrk, so I bought a joystick and what do you know I can fly. I can do air to air and air to ground, but I still need much practice.

I'm using keyboard and mouse and having no problems (also just too many hrs of practice from BFvietnam) but I do intend to get a joystick for the full game
