Game Wont Launch
Exactly what I said. Screen goes black..does the switching res click and goes right back to the desktop? Yeah..yeah, my rig is an aging tank...so WHAT?!?!?!

What's your graphics card? I'll assume a Geforce 4, they are not supported, though there is a hack for them to work, it doesnt really work, lol.

LOL yeah that's what I figured. Like I said she's aging. I'm still pushing my old 4200TI. I've had it cranked as far as it will go for some time but I think she's reaching her end. Oh well...

Skidz, go to a site called gamecopyworld.com, go into it and search for Battlefield and see if you can find the Geforce 4 BF2 shader mod. Its suppose to work with the retail version too, good luck.

ya .. disappointing they dumped the 4200 crowd.
Decent card, just cost cutting coding on the developer's part.

Good luck with the hack, if not, a 5200 is a good deal,
and will get you up and running

If you must Skidz dont get a 5200. Heh, sorry Dudio, but the card is not good for its price. A great low end card now would be a 128bit 6200 or a refurbed 6600.

Cost cutting code? nah, it's called features and capabilities offered with newer cards. IF anything blame Nvidia, the freakin Radeon 8500's work in this game.... sheeshh...
