regarding RANKED servers and EA's monopoly the a putting into the "RANKED SERVER" system.

I don't fully understand the Ranked stuff, but if EA was trying to create a global stats system then it would make sense to me that there should only be one source for the records. local databases could be altered to create whatever results we needed.

I understand if a clan server wanted stats for thier peeps and regulars for local rankings. I support that as long as those results could not be uploaded to the global database.

I just wish they'd work on the p*ss poor ingame browser so I could find servers quicker, AND CHANGE THAT @#%$^%&^&# EMAIL/USERNAME ACCOUNT SYSTEM TO A GUID. I finally got a name to take that I can use (not my preferred one but..) and was now thinking of changing ISPs but if I do that then THAT name is gone too since it'll be linked to my old addy !*#$&#@

That link takes me to gamespy, where I can change my gamespy information. Now, I'm guessing if I change my email on gamespy then it will reset the bf2 database??? I'm real confused.

The whole ranked thing was good idea, but they need to work on the server code. Any ranked ones I've played on lags really bad.

I agree. I usually play on the unranked servers, so I think the rankings are skewed anyways.

It plain just don't work. Get unique id in use or invalid email/password .I have tried the EXACT spelling and p/w.

So I'll be on as {OF}MT or ofmillertime for now. Two names cause I'm trying 2 configs out.

In the upper right corner there is a green box that says "Log in To GameSpy"

Put the email you created your BF2 account with and your BF2 password. It will then populate the information at which point you can edit it.

It does work MT, I changed my information this morning.

That nick is tied to that email somehow. If I change nick at FP, BF2 stills says unique nick is in use.

I logged in to FP with my BF2 {OF}MT nick and it's own email it created a FP account. blah blah blah

I cannot think of any other order to try it in to be able to use {OF}MillerTime.

If you delete an account WHY NOT have delete fmro EA's server as well. maybe then I could use it. Or be able to delete gamespy accounts. aarrggghhh.

maybe we can do something thru pm's or I can drive to EA and make sure there won't be a BF3
