No, you don't have to register with gamespy because you already have.


Seems this is too simple...
When you created the account in BF2, you created a gamespyid.

So if you go to that site and login with the same email and pass you created in BF2, in the upper righthand green login box... you can bring up your info and alter it.


I would suggest putting |7| if you plan on being our the |7|squad.

Did you change the nickname? if so it should be fix. My only thought is it hadn't updated right away? or you may need to delete the name off your local box and then retrieve it?

I've changed my name and it has not changed in game. I can see my new name in the BFHQ but It doesn't show up in the game. I have tried deleting the account and retrieving it but each time it says "The Uniqenick provided is incorrect"
If I put my email back in and retrieve it that way it pulls up my old name instead of the new one.

Any ideas?
