ugh....teamkills

I blew up two of my squad members that were in an enemy tank tonight and got booted. I was so close to the tank when I turned the corner and the firefight was so thick that I couldn't see their names/color. So I c4ed them. heh. We were in the enemies main base and were rippin up their commander's toys. Had a medic, a supply guy and myself as a spec op to do the c4 damage. It was a thing of beauty.

What a drag, especially when I feel I am doing well leading, have a well rounded squad and we are doing our job. Then BAM, I torch my men!!!! lol. wtf was I doing!! hahaha

I don't know what is going on the last two days but my teamkills have jumped. I think I need to do some meditation between maps or something to chill out. The rush is just a bit crazy. I love this game!!!

p.s. 2 gigs of RAM make the game a total joy!

Team kills happen a lot this game and in real war. Seeing the evidence that you C4'ed them and you were that close, I think I would have to have u shot

I just hate the -10 score you get for a single tk on EA servers.... that fubars my rank especially on bombing runs. Personal favorite is when you kill a tank and it explodes, then a teammate was hiding around the corner and he is killed from the tank explosion. blah. collatoral damage.

About the 2 gigs of RAM.... have you run it with 1 gig? if so did you noticed a difference????

Yep, I was running it up until last week and all through the demo with 1 gig and I see a big improvement in BF2, not to mention in the system overall. It works with 1 gig and lowest settings but now I know if it gets choppy it's not me but the server lag or a bad route to it.
I can also leave spysweeper and my AV running now without worrying about using up needed ram.

For the sake of comparison, my specs are p4-3.2 w/ HT and a BFG-6800, not the highest but not all that low.

Hmm, I have no trouble doing 1280x1024 max settings 2xAA and 8xAF with a constant 50ish FPS in BF2. Running a BFG 6800 unlocked to 16 pipelines and 6 vertex shaders and 402Mhz core and 850Mhz memory.
