It's only been what? 3 years? Lot's been going on this side of the pond. A qick recap. Forgive any repetition... My memory isn't what it might be... blame the fact I've only had 3 or 4 coffees so far...

1) I can has got hitched!
2) Still slaving away in a dead end retail McJob... but I get staff discount on games, consoles and tech toys... so it's all good. This lot of lunatics btw

3) I found out I'm 1/4 Afrikaans... as well as being a Brit... what a mongrel eh?

4) finally going to get off my arse, buy UT3 and play fragbait for you lunatics again :P

1) I think I knew you got hitched ... that is if you are still walking the wind with Mitzi.
2) Dead end McJobs are the norm these days. My mother gave up asking me what I was going to be when I grew up when I told her "retired on $5000/week." Adjusted for inflation that should now probly be about $10-15K/wk. Even without the adjustment, I still do not need to grow up and have steadfastly refused to do so. I highly recommend this course of action for all.
3) 1/4 Africaans? I recommend staying out of South Africa should the Boer War break out again.

4) Finally, it's about fucking time.

Ehmmm, I've never met It so while I can't be sure, when somebody tells me they are part Afrikaans to me that means the Afrikaners or Boers as Hex referred to.

On top of that, his comment made me realize that this means I more or less speak one more language: Afrikaans. I've read it and heard it and yes, it's pretty much like Dutch to the point that I can understand it if I just pay close enough attention!
