Sadly I'm sure I've destroyed the screenshot by now.
To give a bit of a summary, early on in HT's days we had a 1v1 single elimination tourney. JohnnyG and I were going at it and split the first two games; the tiebreaker was Deck16. Well, the format was as follows: First to 20 kills with no time limit. That can take a while, especially when health packs are involved. We were pretty much dead even in terms of deathmatch skill so each kill took a lot of effort or a lot of luck .

Patch 3339 for UT2004 fixed a bug in Invasion (I think it was 3339). An Invasion was supposed to (and now does) end after wave #16. Prior to the patch the game would keep going until everyone got killed during a wave.
One day (sometime before the new patch was released) I checked our server to see if anyone was playing. DvT ServerQuery showed UY and Soapy playing Invasion - INV-Defiance, a custom map that {DvT}Rhino created specifically as an INV map - their scores were outrageously high, so I joined the server as a spectator to see WTF was happening. I don't now remember which wave they were on, but the game was just short of 5 hours old. The server was config'd so there were no bots on their team, just the 2 of them against the invasion - the difficulty level was set to either Inhuman or Godlike. I continued to watch as a spectator and the game finally ended shortly after passing the 5 hour mark.

That's some good stuff. I always liked Invasion when it wasn't being played with moronic mods and easy bots.

Deck16 with no time limit. Ah, the sweet, sweet memories. I distinctly recall the anguish of some stump back in the Unreal days who took to non-stop swearing when nearly 30 minutes had passed since the last time he had seen me. Dinner had come out of the oven mid-match and so I had taken refuge in the slime. I sniped him every time he ran into sight, but otherwise stayed put. He had no idea where I was, and by the time I had finished eating I was far too entertained by his invective to come out and fight fair.
The map did eventually end, though. I sniped him as he ran for the shield belt and his corpse landed in the slime with me. When he saw where I had been hiding his rage hit fantastic new heights. It seems he was under the impression that for me to survive the slime I had to be cheating, so after five minutes of swearing at me for being a cheater he disconnected.
