Ouch, Just bought a Motorola SB5120 Cable Modem and it has been great. New Egg had it for $45 plus shipping.

I have the same as well, nice modem. It seemed to perk up my bandwith abit,
that was probably due to the old Toshiba modem I was using prior to that.

My diesel modem is always on my team and I keep the router set to 0% team damage.

Well it started working again. If I cared, I would call Comcast/Time Warner back and let em know their troubleshooting stinks and their lack of expertise almost cost me a trip to their office for replacement during normal working hours tomorrow...which always goes over like a turd in a punch bowl with the powers to be there.

But I'l just enjoy it working again instead.

So barring any other nasty suprises, I will be there to kick Cowbell's *** this evening...assuming of course he shows up. *cough*

Least you had a modem. We just moved into our new house and apparently the cable company never hooked the house up to the cable so now we don't know when it's coming. Which means no TV either
