Sapient6 pulling triggers again.

Lately I've been playing a lot of Call Of Duty 4 and I decided I should post here to recommend it. Perhaps it's like every other military shooter before it, I wouldn't know, I've always avoided them. As far as the single player is concerned, the campaign is rather short but it's quite well done with a great variety of different styles of play.

Right now it's the multiplayer that has me captivated. Yes, I'm back to playing Team Deathmatch. I'd ask you guys to come play with me if you got your hands on a copy, but that's logistically unlikely. I still can't play shooters on the PC, so I've been playing on the 360. If any of you do happen to be playing this game on the 360 feel free to look me up. My gamertag is Sapient6.

Anyhow, this is a fun game and it's rather well done. If you find yourself looking for a new shooter at some point, consider checking CoD4 out.

No worries. I am absolutely terrible at Cod4. At least most of the time. 3 kills and 12 deaths? Oh yes, I have been there.

Six, can't we get you an arm (or two) transplant or something so you can go back to playing shooters properly on your PC?

I have two problems with PC gaming at this point. One is my right wrist. It just isn't okay to mouse with it. Even when I take a several month break and it's feeling fine, a night of shooters is something I'll be paying for the next day.

The second problem is the gear. I just don't want to have to figure out if a game is going to work on my computer anymore, or what upgrades will be necessary to make it work, or what the impact of my current gear is going to be on the performance or appearance of the game, or how that might result in an imbalance against me when other players have better gear. That all makes me just too tired now.

No, I haven't been able to do that right-handed for the past couple of years. The damage to my wrist is too extensive.
