My son is the best shot in his company
He scored 230 out of a possible 250 on the range...and earned an "Expert" in marksmanship.

He also said that on the long hikes in full gear they have him last...to keep the others in line and moving.

Guess Texans will always be setting the right examples & bailing out lesser life forms.

Cool UY. Congrat's to him. I was also high shooter of my Series. I shot a 242 out of the 250. Our Line PMI said that he would give up his smokey to anyone who shot 245 or above... he was pacing around me on Qualification day.

Congrates on the shooting. Dudio they are probably using the M16 or some variation of it. Great shooting though. When I was a cop in the Air Force I was selected to try out for Marine Sniper school. Missed going by 1 shot, I said it was in and the judge (a Marine Sniper instructor) said it was out of the 10 ring. All but 1 in the 10 ring and 1 touching the 10. I told him to let me shoot him in the same spot and you tell me if it hurts He didn't like that and DQ me. I still shot expert every time I shot. Top Gun in my Police Academy, out shot the Marines in my class and that got them a 10 mile march in full gear.

Oh I forgot my oldest is talking about going in the Marines...we'll see. He is kind of low on the motivation scale, lives in the moment, guess they would fix that for him
