dont get t5 lighting except as actinic supplement. t5s are only good on tanks no deeper than 18". After that mh takes over in intensity. t5's are more intense than mh up to 18" though .

We are looking to add 2 - 150w MH later this week, proving the gal hasn't sold them before I get there. From there I may add some T5's for suplimental lighting, probably Blue+ or Aquablue.

well i see they already come with 10000k bulbs but with 13000k or 14000k bulbs you wouldnt need to supplement any light ing . Maybe when you get new bulbs you can test the 14000k before getting sups and if you dont like it go back to 10000k and sell the 14000k and then use that $$$ to put supp t5 in . every bulb is going to have its own reflector?

Okay the tank finally has the live sand and one or two live rocks in it. Started the true cycle about 3 days ago. And once I get my webserver working right I will move the 2 pics I have and post them. Lights will be here on Friday hopefully.

One step at a time. Keep telling myself patience is the best thing for this. But I want to move everything in there now and get more rock. We have been looking at a few fishies to add to it as well. Anyhow.... going to take time..... **sighs**

Okay for those interested we have officially moved everything from our 30gal tank to the 62gal tank. So far everything seems to be okay and enjoying life now that things have cleared up. We are still waiting on the new lights so the one you see on the top is the old light from the 30gal. Kinda gives you a perspective of how much bigger the tank is. Anyhow here are a few pictures I was able to snap off last night during and after the move.

A7 is starting the move of all of the live rock.

Gotta love Rubbermaid!!! If you look in one of the rocks you can see our Red Sea Star. Seems he found himself a little home in the hole in the rock.

This is after A7 moved everything and set up the rocks. It is still cloudy from moving things around.

I took this picture this morning after things had cleared up.... As with the picture above you can see the old light from the 30gal. It seems sooooo much smaller than this one.

I had to post this one... This is our Tiger stripped Sea Star. He started to poke his legs out when I was taking the pictures.... Kind of like he was say hi.

I will get more pictures of the corals and fishies once things calm down. They are still a little freaked out from the move and all. Tho I see the Yellow-Eyed Tang and Blue Chromis swimming all over the place.
