Here are 4 pics from a small town rodeo in Canton GA. The big white borders are prep for when I matte them so please just ignore the extra white space. Sorry for the big file size..didn't feel like having 2 different sized web copies.

Wow Varm the first two I LOVE!
the tone is really nice... and i especially like the poses in the second one. but you might want to rename to 'cowgirls...and a boy' lol

the third one of the outhouses isn't as strong imo. i see the humor in it and the composition is neat with them all in a line you know but it looks really flat. I just took it into PS and messed with curves and upped the contrast a bit and it looked more pleasing (to me).

The rodeo clown - I like the colors in it (as you probably knew, lol) but there's some noise and grain. The objects behind the clown are really, really distracting to me. I find myself straining to find the outline of the clown (which might be due to overexposure). Did you happen to get any other shots of him? Maybe a little more isolated. I know that it's so hard to get things perfectly set up for things like this.

Great GREAT job on the first two though... absolutely wonderful!

Laura...that rodeo clown was shot at ISO 3200 at 1/30th of a second and zoomed in to about 200mm. That was the only one I got where he wasn't completely a blur

It was really dark and lens I got was about f6.5 zoomed out that far.. That is the best I could do..I wish I'd had a brighter lens so I could have gotten him sharper/faster shutter speed and maybe blurred the background some.

Yeah Varm I didn't mean to bash it to death. It was a picture with great intentions and there actually isn't too much of blur (around the face) on that one. Considering the conditions it's a pretty nice picture. Good to keep as remembrance of the event but in my opinion just not your best work of photography.

Oh PS - Good idea for a bathroom decoration Varm! All I did was use Curves to make it a tad darker and then took the contrast to about +11. I can send it to you if you want though
