I really like that first one, the people really add a lot to it, and also with Mesk the first thought that came to my head was a Pink Floyd album cover too.

The second is actually probably my favorite one. I love the colors, they really pop out to me. It reminds me of something I saw in PC Photo not to long ago, but in that it was over done with a crap load of PS done to it that ruined for me. I really like yours, its smooth yet really grabs me, awesome picture.

The third I like, but is probably my least favorite. I cant really put my finger on it that turns me off slightly about it, but its still very good.

and i totally don't see the connection between the first pic and a pink floyd album cover. the only thing they seem to have in common is a businessman.

Ok guys..here are tonights results.

The one of the reflection of the church in the building took 1st place in the color print category. The judge commented that it was a near perfect shot in his opinion

The sign didn't place..he said it was a well taken photo but was more of a "documentary" shot of existing artwork (the sign)...oh well...

The b/w one of the chaplain and the dying soldier took 2nd place in the b/w category. He said it had a lot of emotion to it..which is what I was shooting for.

congrats man! i figured the sign one wouldn't do well, it wasnt all that great quite frankly. just had good colors

Varm, nice shots man. I actually like all 3. Did you try the sign in BW? With the right contrast I think it would show the age and look great. The church is beautiful, you just need a hooker on the street for a little irony. LOL.
